Ubuntu, Kubuntu & PcBSD… I’m confused

In 3 days I have installed (in order)

Ubuntu on my laptop (ok - removed I don’t know why)
Ubuntu on a Virtual Machine(ok - removed because of a little mess I’ve done)
PcBsd on a VM(ok - but only 1024×768 with other problems)
Ubuntu again on a VM (ok - removed again, I don’t like Gnome)
Kubuntu on VM [...]
