The tech-shocking weekend!

This weekend is becoming the terror of the technology in FCHouse!
We started with the iPod Nano Issue, but the houses suffeded more than that!
Yesterday we found that our 4MBits ADSL connection with Telecom Italia, well…, ehm… is not a 4 MBits connection! I was shocked when the tech support told me:

Support: No, sir, your line is working well! We can see that you can reach 1 MBits in download, the maximum for you!
Me: -WHAT? THE MAXIMUM OF WHAT?!?
Support: Yes, sir, if you want in some weeks your line should be upgraded to 4MBits per seconds!
Me: -HEY, I’M PAYING FOR THE 4MBITS SINCE APRIL!!!!!!!
Support: …ops… maybe you should talk with our commercial staff…

As for the iPod Nano the call center that can solve this problem is… closed til monday!

Do you think this can be enough? Of course NOT!

After sone checks I found that my Wordpress configuration were wrong and now the Plugin works PERFECTLY!
I’m TechnoraTagged Now!

Some days ago I installed the Bunny’s Technorati Tags Wordpress Plugin to get indexed in Technorati for the different tags I set on a post.
Well… Download…. Unzip… Copy in plugins… Activate plugins…

BINGO!

I woke up thinking deeply into my thought, questoning myself with thousands of fearfull questions, but the most important one is:
If I decide to take this challenge, will I be able to keep it to the conclusion?

To Be or Not To Be…

These weeks I had a constant thought about the university, about what I have decided to do seven years ago, what have changed since then and how I am changed since that decision.
I wasn’t a good student, I have never been at the university because I had never seen the outcome of the graduation. I had never understood that we are so small and that only the knowledge should help us.

You have to understand that sometimes I have some thoughts in my mind for a long time, but I’m not able to get the real meaning of those thoughts. But they run continuously in my brain, until a day I wake up with the knowledge of what those thoughts mean!
This time all the thoughts about the universtity was about my decision to quit, all those years ago…

I am thinking about enrol again at the university.

Non riportero’ il Falso e non nascondero’ il Vero.

Ecco il nuovo contratto nazionale dei Giornalisti. Ecco il contratto che potrebbe farci Vomitare un po’ di meno leggendo le informazioni di casa nostra.
Ovviamente, visti i precedenti scandalosi, la richiesta di firmarlo con il proprio sangue non dovrebbe scandalizzare nessuno!

A cuba i giornalisti possono scrivere quello che vogliono su Fidel Castro…

Si, ancora una volta parlo tristemente della Liberta’ di Stampa, qualcosa che in Italia sembra essere una moda superata, una moda che ha lasciato spazio ad una tanto antica quanto rinnovatamente nuova: la moda del leccapiedi.
Con questo non intendo dire che un giornalista non dovrebbe poter esprimere le proprie idee, mettendone in luce gli aspetti positivi, ma tra fare questo e nascondere la realta’ in maniera palese, come sta succedendo oggigiorno, e’ ben diverso…

BASTA! Non sentiamo dire altro che nessun politico muove un dito!
Non e’ Vero!
Ieri a Roma c’e’ stata la manifestazione degli studenti contro la legge Moratti, lo sapevate? (La legge e’ ovviamente passata, tanto chi li caga centomila giovani riuniti a protestare, figuriamoci…)
Dicevo che alla manifestazione c’e’ stato almeno un politico che ha fatto eccezione al chi dice “Non muovete neanche un dito per noi”

Scapegoat!

Personally I have to tell you that I do not like to dress the clothes of Daniel Pennac’s “Benjamin Malaussène”, because my job is NOT the Scapegoat!
But every company, here, works like all the others: when one day something does not work, the “Hot Potato” start falling from the “stair of the power“, rolling down untill it finds the Last Idiot on the hierarchic stair!
Here I am!

I am really pissed off by this situation in which I had the responsibility to be so STUPID to help the others to fix some technical problems on their behalf.
Now what’s up?
Now nobody seems knowing anything, an all of them, pointing their finger at me, say “He was working on it, I think it’s his responsibility!“…
