Toronto AirFrance Crash: All’s Well that Ends Well!

I’ve followed some other news about the crash of the flight AF 358 of the AirFrance from Paris to Toronto, crashed yesterday (for us europeans).
Some news has been interesting to read, other seem to be created by a good writer of Close Encounters of the Third Kind, but in the end I’m happy for those 297 passengers and 12 crew members whose lives are safe.
Some newspaper report the word Miracle and other posts try to find what was wrong during the landing. Someone told that the thunderbolts hit the grond once per minute (I think in the proximity of the airport…) and this resembles me the War of the Worlds

After few hours since I get the first news (I was still at home) I returned on the italian news site and of the 309 survivor there were no more news.

It’s sad to understand that if there are non dead bodies there is no news!
It’s sad to think that those 104 canadians, 101 french, 19 italians, 14 americans, 8 indians, 7 britons and the 12 crew members will be forgot in a matter of minutes only because they are still alive. Of course if I was in one of them I’ll be happy not to be in the first page of the newspapers.
All’s Well that Ends Well!
Canadian Airports will be monitorated, AirFrance will investigate deeply on the landing crash to avoid future disasters worst than this one.
Smile, you folks, that were able to exit from that airplane with your own legs!

I’m still curious, however, to understand how an airplane wasn’t able to brake, even if the airstrip wasn’t the longest among those of the Pearson Airport.
I’m still curious to understand how a thunderbolt should have hit an airplane.
I’m still curious to know…

…even if I’m really glad for all those lifes still alive!
