Another Fool of Shit, Italy!
Yesterday, for some reasons, I approached the Economist web site and there, after reading the leading story of the week, I wished to vanish!
The titles about Italy was two, one outside and one inside the article:
Italy’s missed opportunity was outside
Another year, another scandal was inside
First of all I have to tell that, unfortunately, all that is written inside the story is true. Sad, but true!
You can read everything here, and you will find one of the worst and most dirty part of our country, that seems to be tied with the way of working of some of our Brilliant Brains…
The man you can see is one of the most important man in Italy, because he is Antonio Fazio the Governor of the Bank of Italy.
Yes, even if I think that he should be fired immediately, he still retain that position.
But for clearness I just write down some facts to explain you why…
In March ABN Amro, a dutch bank, announced that it would “buy” another italian bank, the Antonveneta Bank. After this announcement the BPI (another bank, italian this time) rise its Antonveneta stakes in small steps, in order to gain the control itself. Every step done to buy the stakes was confirmed by the Bank of Italy.
One day the Italian magistrates stopped the climbing of BPI for fraudulent conduct (violation of the security laws), because the BPI was playing with the stok market, rising up an down the price of the Antonveneta stock to buy it at lowest price.
Wow! They were playing with our money! Thank You!
The magistrates found the proofs that Mr. Fazio helped BPI to gain the control of the Antonveneta stocks and of course this is far from being a legal thing! Oh, what a shame. It is told that Fazio wants to keep the Antonveneta in the hands of an italian group, but let me tell you that one of the man involved called Mr.Fazio “Tonino” (diminutive of Antonio) and seemed to be a close friend of him!
For now everything is in a stall position, in another scandal like Parmalat one, another wagon of shit on the heads of Italy!
Oh, I forgot to set the last piece in the picture: the italian government didn’t do ANYTHING to preserve our morality, to preserve Italy! Of course this is not the most important thing for them, maybe they are thinking to their own interest only, as they have done til now!
So, another time, Italy has achieved a fool of shit. this time the governor of the bank of Italy and four or five other VIP… that I’m start thinking would mean Very Imbecile Persons!
What a Shame!
