She just came out from the Apple Store in Regent’s Street. She was holding her new iPod case. She seemed to be in a little hurry as, just out on the pavement, she moved towards the street calling a cab.
Doing this in daytime is easy and you always get some free ones running around the street of London, but doing the same thing at nighttime is a little harder. The other night Fabiana and I came out from the IMAX cinema, after having watched “The Dark Knight” and, being 2:30 in the morning, we did not have any other chance than finding a cab to go home. We spent half an hour around Waterloo trying to get a black cab, but the few that were riding the streets were all full or booked. The one we saw with the light on did not see us. In the end we decided to call a private taxi service (Adison Lee): in three minutes a car was there to bring us home!
