Daydreamer
There are many things I keep in mind while deciding if a photo is worth being published or not. There is the quality of the image, the quality of the subject, the colors, the original framing or the possible crop. Should a perfect image tick off each and every of these things? Yes and No.
Sometimes what I see in the image is more important, to a certain extent, of how the image is technically. Techniques helps, but they do not make an image.
When I saw this photo on my laptop (I almost never use the camera screen to check what I shoot) I was delighted by the moment I caught, even if the overall quality of the image was not so good. She is not perfectly on focus, the ISO 800 has resulted in a grainy photo.
Nevertheless I like her daydreaming face, so lost in her thoughts (and probably on some shop around).
Techniques and quality of the image are important to a certain extent, because much more important, in my opinion, is what the photo is able to deliver.
