El Diablo!
There is an old song that comes to my mind every time I see this photo. I have been editing it for some days, always on the verge of publishing it, but only today I have decided to go through pushing it online. The song is from an Italian band called Litfiba and its name is “El Diablo”. Clearly Daniel is not diabolic, at least if you want to trust me and not this (possibly deceiving) photo. The light in those deep eyes is fantastic, that dangerous smirk removes the attention from his wit, that comes clearly out while discussing.
Daniel is a good friend, it is always a pleasure to mingle with him, talking and having fun. So if he is “El Diablo” I am no less than that.
The setting for this shot was absolutely stunning: Daniel was perfectly lit from a light coming from the top of him, but the real winning thing was the reflecting table that filled his face from below. The yellowish tones of the place we were in and the golden tones of the reflected light make the colors very warm.
