Euro or Lira? Go Italians, Go!
In the ANSA site, the italian news agency, there is a report on the stupid request of some politician that tried to move out of Euro!
The report say that more than 80% of the italian thinks that returning to our buried lira will be a wrong step, and I agree. I think that the problems regarding the cost of life in Italy (rising like hell in the last years) is not linked to the new currency.
Ask the merchants where the hell our money are going! Ask yourself why the difference between the Rich and the poor is getting bigger and bigger! Ask yourself why the price of 90% of the items we buy has been doubled in the last years!
I have an idea where to send those people who think that returning to lira will solve our economic problems! I would only remember them that the only way Italy hadn’t get an economic regression during the ‘80 and the ‘90 was the continuous depreciation of our currency! remember that in 1991 one dollars was exchanged for 1000 lire, and in 1995 the same dollars was valued 1900 lire! Italians always tried to fix all the problem with economic tricks, but now is time to “get the bull for his horns”!
