Some days ago Frank issued the news about the Data Retention Law requested by Englans, Ireland, Sweden and France at the European Parliament.
In a short news from Reuters (Sorry, I didn’t find the english version of the story) there is the conclusion of this debate about the debated law.

For this time the “Big Brother Disease”, that is affecting so many politicians, seems to have reached a temporary stop.
Yes, unfortunately it is only a temporary stop, because the parliament has dropped the proposal mainly because all the costs of the Data Retention would have been payed by the service providers. So, in this case I cannot rejoice too much, because the choice has been done for economical reasons, not for ethic one.
So, we can pay the fear of our governments, we can pay it with our privacy, but it’s better than the economical status of our service provider will not be touched…
You know, even if I am happy about this overcome, I sadly look at the reason, that let me think that it doesn’t matter if we will not to be trusted, if our privacy will be wiped out, but they want to be sure not to damage any economical part in this game!
Go to Hell!
