Photographing London Photoblogging our life from London!

Friends

Friends

When Fabiana and I moved in London, almost three years ago, we left everything we knew behind our shoulders. Everything but the people who counted in our lives: Friends. Time has passed by, making me almost three years wiser, and many relations have changed, and only some for the best. Of the many friends we left in Italy, many were lost in time and space, but some were also found.
Michela is a long time friend. She was used to live in Italy and she was the one who decided to move to London as well. We lived together for almost a year in the Isle of Dogs, before she decided to move closer to her work some miles north of London (joking, Fabiana and I call that place “Culonia”… “assland”, because there is absolutely nothing there!).
Guido had been a real surprise. An intelligent guy I met ages ago on the blogsphere. He had a techie blog I followed and vice versa. One day he decided to move to London as well and we finally met in person. Unfortunately he had to move to Dusseldorf, in Germany, because of his job. (As you can imagine Fabiana and I never hide him the fact that we call his place “Culonia2″… “assland2″, with all my apologies for the people who live in the two places mentioned).
They are Friends. They are not perfect, but I would never want them different. I am not perfect, but they accept me for what I am, and this is something rare, and I am a lucky person to know them!

… Hem… What am I doing here???? :D

Feels kind of strange opening a web page and find you face on it :D

As it happened to Faby and you, I have also lost friendships and contacts moving to another country, but I will always be grateful to have been able to keep yours! :)

Big hug guys!

15yrs later, and I still love/adore Michela. We met in Trieste so many years ago that it feels like a dream. To this day, I’ve missed her.

Truth is, had she not moved, I’d have never found her here.

So please, if you see her.. Tell her I said hello.
