Future Of Web Apps

Future Of Web Apps

In these days I am attending the Future Of Web Applications conference in London. This is one of the largest and most important conferences about the Web here in UK and for some reasons it is not disappointing me.
In the last years I have noticed a sharp change of direction in my working interests: if I was very interested in Development and “how to realise something” to a more analytical, abstract approach. In front of the O’Reily bookshop I was not interested by the many dev books but from the management and planning ones. Interesting.
Two of the panels I followed yesterday were very interesting. Kevin Rose from digg did a good keynote, but the best speech was for sure the one from Ben Huh of icanhascheezburger: interesting, funny, deep and full of useful information.
I am not very good in knowing many new people, it is a part of me I am working on but still is one of my weak points. Today there will be the last day, ending with the live filming of diggnation (if you do not know what it is… well… you are clearly NOT a real geek!).
Apologies if I do not have time to come to see your fantastic shots guys, I promise I will as soon as I will have some free time!

This man was waiting in one of the conference areas for a panel to start. The black backdrops that created the virtual room were perfect to create a very nice shoot on black. The lights, unfortunately, are not perfect, so I had to boost my settings a bit. I tried not to go to ISO 1600, but I really should have…
