I like to move it
In these days I am realizing something rationally, something that I just knew inside, without being fully aware of it: I like movement in my photos! Make them jump, run, dance or just turn naturally towards me and let me try to capture an instant of that movement and I am able to convey every bit of that energy!
This shot is part of the session done for Katie Ridges, a very talented up and coming shoe designer. We decided to create two different types of photos: some more focussed on the shoes themselves in a white environment, and then some “environmental” photos. I believe that merging together two images so different, one where the single shoe is king and one where the focus in on the environment (sort of marketing vision of the shoe) makes a great duo!
