When I received my first iPod as a gift from Fabiana, many many years ago, I Immediately thought: I will go to London. Do not ask me why, I do not have a reason, but I visualized myself riding the Tube with my iPod in my ears. Well, one year later it happened, when we moved here from Italy. When we were in Paris for a weekend last year we niticed a lot less white earphones. Walking down the streets of London it is easy to spot someone with the classic Apple-white earphones plugged in. The iPod mania in London is really widely diffused, but I have to admit that since the iPhone I will never bother carrying around a Phone AND the iPod.
When I saw this girl leaning on a wall near a shop in Oxford Street I simply turned my camera towards her and I shot some frames: she was so deeply involved in her gadgets that she did not notice me.
Lately I am loving the grainy effect and the highly contrasted black and white. Do you?
