Italian Football is trying to clean its face!
The italian football association (FIGC) has decided that the four teams and lot of the people involved in the matches fixing scandal are guilty!
Juventus, the winner of the last two Italian titles has been demoted to Serie B, and will start the tournament with a penalty 30 points. The last two titles has been removed. Fiorentina and Lazio has been demoted to Serie B and will start the new leage with penalty of 12 and 7 points respectively. Their last year results has been wiped out. Milan has lost 44 points from the last season and, despite it will remain in Seria A, they will start with 15 points of penalty.

These has been the decision of the sport court that was required to decide the sort of these four clubs, together with 24 persons, most of whom has been banned for long from the italian sport. No one has been banned for life.
Every team, after the sentence, has started protesting for the harshness of the punishment. No one of the four teams has accepted the idea that they have been found guilty of having pushed the italian football, and in general the italian sport, deep into the shame. A shame that seem more heavy abroad than in Italy itself.
No one of the team has made a “Mea Culpa“, none of the involved men accepted the faith and everyone of them told that they would start a legal battle.
But time is running out. It is going for the Champions Leage, for the UEFA Cup and for the italian championship too. It’s running late for the demoted teams. No one has thought that the italian football need to be cleaned before starting again. No one thought that, even if the recorded phone calls hold them to the guilty side, the silence would have been a solution.
What a shame for those powerful monsters, with all their money and all their influence. What a shame for those refrees who should never be seen again on a pitch. What a shame for the political cry Milan president, Silvio Berlusconi, is advancing to explain Milan guiltyness: only a political move to hit him personally.
The rottenness of the italian football must be wiped away if Italy wants to be proud of the brand new World Champions title. The guilty must pay.
We will wait for the different levels of appeal, then we will see if the shame will prevail, or if the law will.
