It’s just a game of shadows and lights

It's just a game of shadows and lights

The second roll of film came back yesterday evening, just hours after I dropped it for the development.
This time I am extremely happy of my photos: I have a staggering number of 13 photos (on 36) I have shortlisted to be published. Moreover the vast majority of them are straight out of the camera (SOOC), with no modification. The only thing I had to do for each and everyone of them was to fix the black and white: all of them were slightly tinted in red.
I know this is not one of my usual shots, but with the film camera I am much more focused of the composition. I do not pull the trigger when I see something interesting, I always try to frame exactly what I see in a precise moment and this shot is a perfect example. I was able to recreate the scene I had seen for what it was, for the strong light and the shadows, for the man walking down the alleyway and his shadow. I was not fast enough to capture him few moments before: it would have been better, but it is not a big issue. I like this shot for what it is!
