MacIntel released!!!
This morning, reading the news, I’ve found that the MacWorld, I expected for today, was yesterday!
This morning, reading the news, I’ve seen the first Mac equipped with Intel!
I immediately run on Apple Web Site to read the features and, of course, the prices!
First of all I have to admit that I hadn’t took any care about the new iMac, but I focused on the new PowerBook (I love laptops).
The first thing that impressed me, as always when a new Apple product is launched, is the design of the model. This time it is very similar to the “old” Powerbook, but I have to tell you that I’va Always loved it, so I love the new one!
Regarding the technical specifications I would like to wait not for some written papers (or web pages) but I’d like to hear something from the first owners.
Will the Mac OS X works well?
Will the applications run well with the Rosetta?
Will the new macintel support a dual boot?
Will they be a REAL replacement for someone like me that is primarily Windows Based?
Yes, of course thinking windows on a Mac Pc is something very perverse, but I’ve always dreamt a Mac since I quitted my old PowerBook 160cs. Sigh… Sob…
I will wait for the “Real Life” news, then I will dream a little bit more or a little bit less!
