Mobile and Paper

Someone carries a book, but the vast majority of the commuters in London have a paper in their hands. The perfect companion to the mobile phone, at least if you are not traveling on the underground, those two things seems to be essential to kill the traveling time. The free papers are mostly rubbish, with some gossip, some useless information and other gossip (at least they have the Sudoku).
It is not so difficult then spotting people holding a paper and a mobile while waiting at the bus stop.
Back in Italy it took me 10 minutes from my doorstep to my working place. I lived in a small city, but adapting to the 45 minutes of my London commuting time has not been difficult.
