Ten days after the big crash, my MacBook is with me again! I went to collect it this morning at the Apple Store in Regent Street! I am SO happy to have it back! Maybe Apple is not to have me as a customer, because to solve this “little problem” they substituted the motherboard, the RAM and the video of my white jewel!
Not bad, isn’t it?

If my laptop were out of the warranty period I would have had to pay more than 800£! A new laptop would have cost less than these repairs! Definitely I have to get used to the fact that every computer I have, sooner or later will die of a painful death, maybe to be resurrected by some techno-cleric once or twice before I decide to change it.
PS: In these first minutes of work on it, I am continuously searching the “end” and the “home” buttons present in my old IBM thinkpad t42p I have used these days with Ubuntu… I fear that I will have to get used to the lack of those keys again! :P
