Today we went to Brighton for the Pride Parade. The weather was awful for the first two hours, with a gloomy gray sky, rain and cold. The result, adding the late train from London, was a total disaster during the parade: just few nice shots, but nothing to be remembered. Luckily the day become better once the thousands and thousands of people ended up in the park. The sun also came up some minutes.
The place, full of people, was not missing those who were able to attract attention, maybe more than someone could have thought possible.
I have to admit that the number of people I have seen today in Brighton was incredible, and the air of Joy I have felt during the London Pride was equal to the one I have felt today. Everyone was free to run the city dressed in incredible clothes, without anyone judging them. I ask myself if it was them or it was simply the will to be different a little bit more…
