Photographing London Photoblogging our life from London!

Passing by…, originally uploaded by Carlo Nicora.

I like to watch the reaction of the people when I stop in the middle of a pavement with my camera on my face, waiting.
They clearly know they can be in a photo. It is not something they can be sure of, but many of them have an inquisitive look. Inquisitive, but yet they remain in a straight line between me and the place where my camera is pointed to.
This guy hit me when he was many many meters away from me, so I decided to put my camera on my eye, stop where I was, pointing my lens towards him. He saw me, but he did not change his path. He had to avoid two other persons, but then he returned on his original path. The pavement in that part of Oxford Street is huge, nevertheless he decided to walk near me, with that piercing look.
It is nice when your subjects come to you, isn’t it?
