Scapegoat!

Personally I have to tell you that I do not like to dress the clothes of Daniel Pennac’s “Benjamin Malaussène”, because my job is NOT the Scapegoat!
But every company, here, works like all the others: when one day something does not work, the “Hot Potato” start falling from the “stair of the power“, rolling down untill it finds the Last Idiot on the hierarchic stair!
Here I am!

I am really pissed off by this situation in which I had the responsibility to be so STUPID to help the others to fix some technical problems on their behalf.
Now what’s up?
Now nobody seems knowing anything, an all of them, pointing their finger at me, say “He was working on it, I think it’s his responsibility!“…

I am not so stupid not to understand that if something is not working there must be someone to be blamed, someone that must resolve the mess, someone that should tell what’s wrong!
Ok, it is right, but you must find the real responsible before hitting!

But in this specific case there are two important things to to for “The Boss”:

  1. It MUST work. NOW
  2. I don’t care what happened. Solve it!

Yeah, no one cares WHY the problem happened, no one cares WHO is really responsible for this mess.
And do you know why?
Because this time a man at the top of that hierarchical stair has whispered some words about it.
In that moment a reported problem, repeatedly ignored from that hierarchical stair, has become the most important target in the whole world!

And the 100 times I told you before?
Why did you ever answerd me - “Oh, don’t worry about it. No one will die for!”

I know that this is “normal” and this time the luck was not with me when they were choosing the Scapegoat, but it something I don’t like.
Finding a Scapegoat is NEVER usefull, because you will never understand why that thing happened. You have to focus on the problem, understand why it happened and who caused the mess (if there is one).

Ok, Now I’m really pissed off and I need two things:

  1. Calm Down!
  2. Solve this problem

And when I will get the real responsible of this I kick him in the ass!!!
