Scary
Some people dress up for the Carnivals, they take those few days every year to be different. Some others are just themselves every day and during the carnival they are not so different from the others. They are characters who wants to dress or look in a certain way, and they are not living a masquerade, they are simply themselves. Back in my old city in Italy some of them would have been constricted in clothing they would not feel well in. Being dressed as they feel well would have marked them as outcast, crazy or dangerous. They are not.
Her tattoo on her arm was… scary!
