Send the camera a kiss, Baby!

When you walk around in a parade with a big white lens, you cannot pretend to pass unnoticed. The Candid photo you can expect with a wide angle lens are simply much more difficult. You can be one of the many with a camera and this may help you mingling with the crowd, but in the end there are some shots where you are spotted. The reaction in a parade, however, is nothing like the stiffed, sometimes scared reactions you can find in a normal city crowd. In a Parade people expect to be photographed and many of them pose for you, in the way they want.
She saw me when I was watching the crowd through the eyefinder and she felt ready for a shot. She did not ask for it with words, but the pose was unmistakable.
Everyone who love to photograph people should always remember that during parades, demonstrations and similar shows people expect to be under the lenses and are much more willing to accept to be photographed. It is a very interesting school ground!
