Starbucks: adapting to the London Coffee

At home the illy can (the black blend, more toasted) is near the mocha, but outside I had to adapt myself to the local coffee.

Starbucks LogoBig coffeeshop names have invaded London from some time on, so I decided to chose the one whose coffe was more tasteful for me. I tried Nero (the Real Italian Coffee), EAT, Coffee Republic and more, but in the end the one I like more is Starbucks!

Even if I am one of those who loves the real italian espresso, I have to admit that passing from a little cup with few black liquid inside to the “Cappuccino Grande, Triple Shot, to take away, Please” has not been so hard!

Of course the two things are quite different one from the other, but I think that these are two different coffee cultures.

Here the real italian coffee would not be sold, because it is too strong, and here the cups contains up to 40cc, not the few ones of our coffee…

So in the morning I grab the takeaway cup and bring it into the office, where I can sip the cappuccino for the entire morning. As Italian I love to taste quite a strong taste, so I like the Triple Shot, which means that they set three espresso in the cup, instead of two.
