The Colored Wall
This is one of the many photos I like, but that I hadn’t published because I had many others to and because I do not like to publish too many from a single series. Then, when the series have moved on, I tend to not to like the photos I took. My constant research for improvement…
Nevertheless there are some photos I never published that I like, and this is one of them. The colored wall, the narrow depth of field, that smile (or is it a smirk) in her face… I like it, much more “alive” and young than many others I have in my stream!
I have to admit that the experience with Meeka and her brother Tai has been extremely important for me. With them I started to see the “street” photography in color and with bright tones, less dark feelings, more smiles. I think that these feeling must be attributed to these two bright teenager, to their attitude, their bright and natural smiles. I liked it a lot and it has been an experience I will have to remember very well.
