The Invisible Man amongst the Wise
Yesterday I felt like I was totally invisible for some minutes. I was in Covent Garden (yes, again) and I was standing in the middle of a small crowd. Their attention was on a local attraction and I was just another one, apart for the fact that I was not interested in the artist. To be honest I do not even know what he was performing back then. I was interested in the human nature, in the shades of the expressions these two men were displaying. Their skin, the depth of their eyes, their skin… I love when the black and white enhances the wrinkles of the time: Wisdom I call them.
I was mybe one meter from them with my camera on my eye and my attention to them but they did not see me for a while, I was completely invisible. With the short lens I could have been shooting the architecture of Covent Garden, or maybe someone else. I was photographing them instead.
