In my entire life, every time a Big Tech was launched on the market, I always tried to get all the pics I could. Every time a tool was released I tried to understand if what I have saw on the monitor was reflecting the real item in the store.
Some times I was able, after few months, to touch some tech jewel with my hands, but this time…
Yesterday, running London up and down, we take a stop to the Apple Store in Regent Street. I thought that the MacBook wouldn’t have been there, because it was too near to the global launch, but…
…but I was wrong!
I didn’t take any live picture of the Apple Store (even if I will and I would have had), but approaching the desks with eight MacBooks We (Yes, Fabiana is Loving them like me) had a strong heartbeat in seeing four white and four black!
How are they from live? Much More Beautiful than any image could tell!
We waited in queue to put our hands on a Black model and it was Great!
The new Glossy screen is really good and the laptop is very cute overall. The weight is good, and the keyboard, even if quite strange, gives you a good feeling under your fingers.
Obviously, once more Apple has created a very High End Design product, because the new MacBook is brilliant, simple but not banal, giving the customer a Great Piece of Artwork!
It was lovely to touch that laptop with my hands, and I have to admit that this entry-level laptop, from a design side, is better than the MacBook Pro (In My Humble Opinion).
Overall the new MacBook is really Good, and I am start thinking to leave my IBM to switch to it. Of course the possibility to install also Windows as side OS is something that is thrilling me, opening new frontiers in my mind.
The street prices (in UK) varies from something more of 700 to 1100 pounds, not SO cheap, but better than a lot of possible solutions. Maybe when I will sell my IBM t42p I will switch to an Apple… maybe…
