The singer
He approached us singing and shaking a paper glass with some changes in it. He did not ask for some other coins, he just went on singing and moving the paper glass in front of us. When I took out the camera he shaked his head and hand, as to clarify he was not happy aboput being photographed. It was then that Mark told him something like “I will give you some change if you let him take a photo of you. Is that ok?“. He immediately stopped his waving (but not his singing) and he gladly accepted the few coins that was given him.
His eyes were not incredibly deep and expressive, but they seemed to be full of “something”. He was very skinny, definitely a strange character!
3200 ISO on the 40D is a little bit too much in my opinion. One thing is to love in the grain, but recreating the film grain is a complete different thing.
