I have to admit that I have never loved men that stop the tie in their pants, it is simply awful. Sometimes wearing a tie is a pain, but at least if you want to do it, or if you have to do it, do it properly!
From this point of view Italian way of dressing, their idea of being fashionable is very stylish. Try to keep this praise with care, because I do not have many for the people of my country of birth; but rarely I have seen old Italians blocking their ties under the belt.
My father used to say that ties are nothing less than something to hang yourself in. In many many years I have seen him with one only at my brother’s wedding. I am not so extremist and I have one tie that I really love: it is a Red Valentino I found in a very cheap store many years ago. I do not wear it very often, but when I do it, be assured that the tip of if never goes under my belt!
