Too Cool for Internet Explorer!
As you have probably noted, FCHouse has a new (first?) banner: Too Cool for Internet Explorer!
Yes, my crusade against IE is still on: I believe that a Good Browser should respect some Standards (I have told it thousands of times, I know… I’m a geek, I know this too…) and bring some fresh air.
Why not IE? First of all because it is NOT the best browser available on the market, and all the other competitors are FREE. Firefox, Camino, Opera, Safari… they all follow the standard rules of W3C, but Microsoft still insist in creating “Cool” things that should start a “new standard” when a very good one already exists.
Internet Explorer is also much more bugged than the other, it welcomes Spyware, Trojans and whatever, and all the best they have been able to do with the newest version is… copying from the other!
Try to switch to another browser, because it worth it!
Click on the banner in the lower right corner of this page and listen to other voices telling the same thing! …and remember: the browser is a choice of heart, not of monopoly!
