Twilight or The Masquerade?

The new year has finally come and for the London Calling Photographers it is time for the first projects. To inaugurate this season we had the first Workshop in studio. Thanks to Laura Moreno, who kindly agreed to teach us what she know about studio lights. I have to admit that the entire day was a success: six photographers eager to learn, three brilliant models, a fantastic makeup artist and a top teacher! that was what we needed to start this 2009 with the right foot!
Following the interest this workshop created, we have decided to make another course, this time it will be a Basic Light Course and will be held by me and Fabiana! We will cover what we learned in these months passed taking photos in Studio. So if you are interested, express it here, on our wiki or via mail: the experience with the London Calling Photographers is expanding!
These in the photos are Melissa and James, in a settings that immediately reminded me of a vampire film. His skin, so clean, so white, in contrast with the warmth of Melissa had a huge impact, especially thanks to James’s green eyes. The low key used here and the different expressions in their faces wrapped everything together extremely well. I am pretty happy with this shot!
We have been extremely lucky with the models, they have been professional and very easy to work with.
