Walking down Westbourne Park Road
They were walking down Westbourne Park Road during the first hours of the carnival. Unlike us they seemed a little bored more than excited. I was living the waiting with trepidation, they were simply waiting. The parade was not yet started, the roads were still pretty empty and the sun that blessed part of our Sunday was not yet awoken.
Their attitude hit me, their way of walking and their styles. The road had some steam coming from the food shops all over the pavements and it almost seemed to me a surreal moment.
During post processing I have taken some loose inspiration from a set by Expectation Maximization. I am not entirely satisfied with the tones in the shot, but they are not bad. Any hint from the Aperture users?
